Just south of downtown Seattle are some of my favorite distilleries in the northwest. One of these, and probably the smallest I visited up there, was 2Bar. Walking in you feel the “grain to grass production” and it’s awesome. I was able to try the bourbon and moonshine as well as (at the time) their limited release. I found the bourbon really tasty and the limited release was full of flavor. I’m not a huge moonshine guy, but even that was good! I snagged a few bottles and went on my way, but would go back – and will, next time I’m in Seattle as I’m now completely out of all my 2Bar finds. Definitely not a “let’s hang out at 2Bar” sort of place – small tasting area and has an option for tours – but you can’t go wrong with tasting the goods and buying some great whiskey.
