I would say this was one of the more beautiful locations along the Bourbon Trail. I’m a big fan of Woodford so was pretty excited to check this place out. Didn’t do a tasting as we got there too early in the morning (we had a lot to get through that day!) but just driving up you are immediately impressed with the facility and locale. Manicured lawns for days, flowing hills, trees lining the roads, the whole thing just made you feel at peace.

We weren’t allowed to walk around very much as that was part of the tour, but after a quick visit and a few purchases, we were headed out to continue the journey. What’s interesting to me about the “big guys” along the Trail is that it’s pretty much just a big marketing game. Slight variations and everyone wants to buy the bottle – myself included! Really glad we made the trek, though maybe next time I’ll stick around longer to really soak in what this place has to offer.
