As I was trying to work through the San Diego Craft Distillery tour I made it to Henebery Spirits. Located in a business park (as many of the distilleries are in San Diego) the tasting room is pretty well decked out, though not big. They have a great history/story and everyone there seems to love to tell it (so I won’t spill the beans here).
This is a great place for after work or weekend group meet-ups.
There’s a limited tasting (of their Rye) you can do as they mainly push cocktails at their bar/tasting room. I did snag a bottle of the Rye, really good / spicy / peppery. You should definitely check this place out, but meet a few friends there!
